  8. Check door motor bearings for smooth operation.
  9. Examine final limit switches.

D) Yearly Inspection Services

  1. Tighten all connector screws in the controller.
  2. Inspect, clean, and secure all connection boxes in the hoistway.
  3. Test all safety devices for compliance and reliability.
  4. Tighten foundation bolts of the traction machine.
  5. Secure screws on the car frame and counterweight for stability.
